Ride Resort also features 22 elegant and comfortable rooms, a total of 94 beds, with the particularity of having SPA mattresses to provide our Guests unforgettable nights.
We have 3 types of room categories, suitable for guests traveling alone, with friends, romantically, with family or team buildings and incentives. Double or twin rooms; Double Ride rooms to ideal for families (maximum of 4 people) and our shared rooms (maximum of 6 people), thought and prepared for groups or simply for Customers who wish, for a great price, to share a room and meet new people. All our rooms, including the shared rooms, have a private bathroom.
Location
Ride Resort has a unique and privileged location in Baleal, just 400m away from the beach, close to nightlife, restaurants and various cultural venues. Our resort is the only one in Portugal that allows guests to join group or private classes in 3 different sports: Surf, Skate and Bike.
Our resort has 7,000 sqm of area, of which 5,000 sqm of outdoor area, with an Outdoor heated swimming pool, Solarium with sun loungers, Skatepark; Climbing Boulder; Volleyball net; Slackline and Playground.
Visit Ride Resort and enjoy our Restaurant wOw with capacity for 80 people, Le Pop Bar with living room and Games Room or even our Rooftop with 500 sqm.
Additionally, if you want to relax or exercise, we recommend our Gym and Spa (sauna, Turkish bath and 2 massage treatment rooms) as well as our Yoga classes. Do not forget our Surf, Skate and Bike academies, with private or group lessons available, for all levels and for any age or, simply, bikes, skates and surf equipment to rent. We also have the ideal space for your events, with a meeting room with capacity for 60 people, free Wi to Fi in all areas of the resort and all the services needed to make it a success.

Our spacious and comfortable shared rooms are the perfect choice for guests traveling alone, for a group of friends, a business trip, a large family travelling together or for those looking for a more economical solution.
All our bunk beds are equipped with individual drawers with a security code, with plenty of space to store clothes or any other personal items in an organized and safe way, with an opaque curtain and a reading light on each bed. All single beds have the following measure: 90 x 200 cm.
All shared rooms have a private bathroom equipped with a shower and amenities as well as a balcony equipped with 2 chairs, a tea table and a clothes line. This is the ideal place to read a book or enjoy a drink while watching the sunset.
To book this accommodation typology it is mandatory to have at least 6 years old, except when all beds in the room are occupied by family members, for example, if the family has 6 members or if these guests pay for the total number of beds in the room.

Beginner Surf Lessons
For those who have never surfed before, or surfed for a few times, but still struggle on standing up or paddling out. (available from Monday to Friday)
Intermediate Surf Lessons
If you can successfully stand up, paddle out alone and feel comfortable catching unbroken waves, this is the group for you. (available from Monday to Friday)
Advanced Surf Lessons
Advanced surfers should be autonomous and able to select a wave and take off. Students will learn skills on how to improve take off on a wave, turn on time, how to get speed, how to do better turns and cutbacks. (available from Monday to Friday)
Private Surf Lessons
Get all the surf instructor attention and make the most of your time! Available for all surf levels, our private classes are perfect for those who want to improve their skills or want faster results. (Up to 3 people p/class. Available everyday – upon request)
Surf Guide
Certified surf instructors will teach everything you need to know about surf, equipment, weather conditions and security issues. It’s ok if you never even seen a board, or if you don’t know how to dress a wetsuit… Our surf instructors will guide you and teach you, sharing their experience and skills.

Medão Grande beach has the queen wave of Peniche. Better known as Supertubos.The name says everything.

The best thing about the Peniche & Baleal peninsula is that the beaches face both north and south, and are all within a few kilometres of each other. So on nearly all conditions there is surf - it is well known as one of Portugal's most consistent surf destinations and a great place for a Surfing Holiday.
The WSL World Tour comes to Peniche every year in October and is a great time to visit if you want to watch the worlds best surfers such as Kelly Slater, Gabriel Medina & Mick Fanning battle it out to win. Surf everyday while watching the event also.
The areas main surf beach is called Cantinho da Baía, its starts in Peniche and ends up in the area knows as Baleal. The spot is famous for its consistency and for being ideal for beginners and intermediate surfers and is where some of the best Baleal Surf Camps are located. Protected from the bigger swell by the headland makes it’s almost always possible to surf here even when there is big swell hitting the coast. The beach stretches 4kms further west with many spots to surf - a great place to get away from crowds.
On the other side of the Baleal headland is Prainha, another great protected surf spot for beginner and intermediate surfers. And next to this is Lagide , a reef break and one of the best surf spots in Portugal if you have big swell and southerly winds. It's a long perfect left with a shallow reef at low tides - great for intermediate/advanced surfers.
On the other side of Peniche (south) is the area's and arguably Portugal's most famous break Supertubos . It's a powerful wave breaking in very shallow sand bar, advanced/pro surfers only! Other waves such as Molhe Leste, Consolação, Porto Batel and Almagreira are all close by giving every kind of alternative including many uncrowded areas; a great area to explore and Surf Portugal's best waves!
And don't forget you can head south and surf Ericeira - less than an hour's drive away.

CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- You can cancel anytime up to 30 days before travelling and you will be refunded the balance.
