The small scale surfcamp is in located in a traditional and quiet village on the foothills of the Atlas mountains: Tamraght.
The house is recently renovated in a luxury Moroccan style. The house can accommodate up to 25 guests in private and shared rooms. All rooms have private bathrooms. There is Wifi throughout the house and clean towels and bedsheets are provided.
The sundeck and veranda are a perfect place to watch the sunsets or join the BBQ at night. In the tropical garden there are daily Sunrise yoga lessons and it is a nice place to hang around.
Surf lessons, guiding & equipment and other daytrips are all available on site. Dinner is cooked each day for €10.
Location
Taghazout & Tamraght were once traditional fishing villages, now they are taken by surfdudes and surfgirls, hippy's and camels. The beautiful area is blessed with epic waves! You can find more than 30 different surfspots arround so there is a surf for everybody. The nearest surfspot and beach is banana beach. This is a beachbreak surfspot, perfect for beginning surfers.
In the area you will also find pointbreaks and reefbreaks (lefts and rights). There are small shops on 2minutes walking distance and cafe's and restaurants on 10minutes walking distance. We are 5minutes walk from the surf, and 15km from Agadir.

The surrounding 10km area of Taghazout & Tamraght have gained legendary status as a surf mecca and without doubt Morocco's surf capital. There are not many places in the world that have waves accessible to beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers but this area has it all.
Taghazout waves includes the beginner/intermediate surf spots Panaromas & Hash's Point. Further south is the long stretch of beach that leads to the next town of Tamraght, a fantastic learner area with two advanced breaks at the south end Devils Rock & Banana Point.
On the north end of town is Moroccos most famous wave, Anchor Point, a world class long right break. And around this headland is La Source & Killers, another two of Moroccos most reliable & famous waves.
10km further north is the town of Tamri which has a great selection of beginner & intermediate waves as well as a few secret spots.

How did you like the accommodation?
I booked a private room that was really clean and had two single beds. Plenty towels and space for your clothes. Typical Moroccan furniture and windows - loved it!
How were the surf lessons?
I was a complete beginner and the Instructor is so patient and helpful. I got up on the board in the first 2 hour session. Because this place is not too big, the surfing groups are of perfect size and you will get one-on-one time with the instructors. Everyday they take you to the surfing spot that they feel is right for the group and according to the forecast.

Fantastischer Ort in Taghazout, kann es kaum erwarten zu surfen und in diesem wunderschönen Ort zu bleiben. Auf jeden Fall lohnt sich. Und Zouhir (der Besitzer) ist wirklich nett und hilft dir bei allem!

How did you like the accommodation?
Everything I could wish for and more!
I did visit Surf Paradise Morocco for a 10days surftrip. I didn't know exactly what to expect before my holiday, but this holiday was everything and more for what I was hoping for!
First the accommodation in Tamraght is on a beautiful location. The view on the ocean and the bay is perfect, especially with sunset! It is closeby the beach, just a few minutes walking, relaxed and quiet. (not a lot of tourists around you, or busy Streets)
The rooms are really clean, compared to other hotels and hostels of Morocco. The meals were delicious! Sometimes Moroccan foods and sometimes healthy prepared by Suzanne, everytime more than enough. My friend has a gluten allergy and that was no problem, they prepared special food for her.
Then: The hosts made us feel really welcome, they were there for us all the time, hanged around, chilling with them, we made some great memories with them! Thank you again guys!
And last but not least, surfing everyday on another beach with surfinstructor Zouhir & Nassar. He is a great teacher with a lot of passion and proffessionality, he really took care for us in and out the water. We were just with a small group so there was a lot of personal attention, And we made a big progress in our surfing during this week!
If you are looking for a great place; don't look further! We definitely recommend this place! Everything is organised and we experienced it as one big happy holiday!

How did you like the accommodation?
he accommodation is nicely situated on a location with a great view, it's not in the hotspot of all the restaurants etc, that was actually what I really liked to get the genuine feeling of being away from it all. Yoga lessons on the top terrace with a sky full of clear stars was pretty awesome too with great guidance. The atmosphere was great; welcoming, relaxed, good food and good company.
How were the surf lessons?
What I really liked about my stay at Surf Paradise Morocco was that; the lessons were very personal and adjusted to the level of experience (in my case: a complete newby) with a lot of patience and good guidance by Zouhir and the help of his nephew Nasser.

2. If you came for surfing that's your place - group day schedule is right, spots are the best, equipment is new, price is reasonable and negotiable.
3. Zouhir is the best coach (and owner) I ever had - trained us as a group and everyone was involved. After 7 days of surf from complete beginners we definitely advanced towards understanding all essence and beauty of surfing as a culture.
4. Suzanne (owner) - knows the best how to make a comfort for every person.
5. It's not hotel - it's home away. Rooms are all good, with authentic decorations and style, stunning ocean views from the most of rooms and terrace top floor. Food is delicious.
Our experience was unexpectedly and outstandingly good. You definitely should give it a try.

Op surfvakantie geweest naar Marokko met 2 vrienden, erg leuke week gehad. De lessen zijn goed en professioneel en de lunches en diners zijn uitstekend. De hotelkamers waren prima. Iedereen is erg gastvrij, open en vrolijk.
How were the surf lessons?
De surflessen waren uitstekend en ik heb goed leren surfen. We leerden iedere dag meer dingen. Het is vooral leren in een relaxte en vrolijke omgeving wat het ontzettend leuk maakt! De surfinstructeurs motiveren je heel erg goed!
