Travelling on your own can be both daunting and exciting.  It's normal to be a bit apprehensive about whether you will enjoy going on a holiday solo, but it also offers all sorts of opportunities and experiences.

One of the best solo holiday options is to combine travelling with learning to surf or improve your surfing. By booking in advance you can select your surf days and have your equipment ready and waiting for you so when you arrive everything is good to go.

Our solo surf holiday options all offer different surf & stay packages which include a mix of accommodation, surf lessons, equipment and transfer to the different surf beaches.

Solo Surf Trips - Surf by day in the sun. Group activities at night

Solo surf holiday accommodation can range from surf lodges on the beach to those in cities or towns. Some are big spacious surf villas with swimming pools, some are luxury surf lodges and others can be cheap. They all have a mix of shared or private rooms. Each surf lodging has its own unique elements but generally a solo stay will go like this: breakfast, surf, lie on the beach, surf, lunch, surf, bbq, few beers and chill out, sleep, repeat! Plus many have other options available on site such as yoga, massages, bike hire, all inclusive meals, hot tubs and more.

All our surf lodges have different surf lessons and guiding options, ranging from beginner to advanced and to private 1 on 1 surf lessons. You can choose what is right for you.

One of the best things about going on a solo surf holiday is that you make friends for life. 30% of the people staying in our surf lodges are solo travellers, others tend to be a group of 2 or 3 friends travelling together. Everyone socialises and surf together. The split is usually 50:50 between male and female. Age wise it's generally 25-40 year olds but of course younger and older are very welcome.

Escape for a week & surf in the sun. From €20 per night. Book online today.
