Location

Portugal is considered to be one of the best surf regions in Europe with very consistent surf spots, as there are waves all year round; with world to class surf towns like Ericeira and Peniche and with uncrowded coastline full of uncrowded surprises. It also has very famous waves like Super Tubes, considered to be the best left in Portugal, in Peniche, a true surf town; or like Coxos, Cave, or Ribeira d’Ilhas in Ericeira.

Santa Cruz is in between the crowded towns of Peniche and Ericeira and just 45 minutes from Lisbon; chill or party, you will enjoy a great picturesque town! Praia Azul is 15 minutes from Torres Vedras, a west coast gem, totally off the beaten track and just 30 minutes from the medieval town of Óbidos, in case you want to immerse yourself in history. Bus services run between Lisbon and Torres Vedras or Santa Cruz, making transfers easy should you not come by car.

The Place

On Luxury Villa is located only 5 minutes from the beach but nonetheless probably the most quiet accommodation. On Luxury Villa is focuses more on wellness and luxury.

The spacious villa complex consists of a total of 9 recently refurbished apartments, either for 2 or 4 persons.

The beautiful garden around the swimming pool is the perfect set up to chill and relax while getting some sun! You can use the bikes on the bike station to explore the beautiful coast. Come and live the vacations of a lifetime!

Everything amazing staff friendly showed me some amazing spot took me to an amazing surf spot he got me up on a smaller board and thr villa was amazing and big.. hughly recommend bookong them. They are very accomadating as well

Best surfing experience so far

We surfed for 6 days (NYE 2022/23) with Pedro, on which he always made sure we had the best conditions for our levels (intermediate and beginner). Due to windy weather, we even went as far as Peniche to catch waves, but the school can go to a wide range of beaches around Santa Cruz normally -- including Praia Azul, where you can basically stare all day at the waves rolling in or jump down to the beach if you stay at the hotel there. During low season, the area is a good option if you don't like crowds. Santa Cruz is a beautiful town and Praia Azul is nice and quiet. Pedro is a local and has surfed and coached all over the world; ask him for food recommendations and wave stories :)

The teaching was very attentive and we were able to work on our technique without being overloaded with too much details at once, so we could focus on improving our individual skills. I liked the long lessons split up into 2 sessions, it really felt like I could maximize my surf each day and have fun as well as improve. As a cherry on top, we rented a surfskate from the school for some amazing sunset riding next to the beach.

After having been to surf schools on 10 one-/two-week surf vacations (on the Algarve, Fuerteventura, and Madeira), I can safely say this one was my favorite so far. We had space for ourselves in the water, vibes were super friendly, the school staff are nice and helpful, we analysed some videos together, and the teaching quality was refreshingly above average. On top of my list for my next surf trip.

Kids Surf Lessons

We offer surf lessons from six to sixty nine year old. We have a 1:6 instructor to student ratio. Kids wetsuit and adapted soft surfboards are included.
We give our students the best support and help to advance fast.The goal of the lessons is to familiarize you with the sea and waves to make you feel comfortable in the water and have the feeling of riding a wave.

Beginner Surf Lessons

We have a 1:6 instructor to student ratio. Top quality Wetsuits and Soft Surfboards are included.
In the BEGINNER surf courses we teach you the right take-off technique to make you stand on the board. The goal of the lessons is to familiarize you with the sea and waves to make you feel comfortable in the water and have the feeling of riding a wave.

Intermediate Surf Lessons

The INTERMEDIATE surf courses are for surfers who are already familiar with surfing the whitewater. We want to surf the first unbroken waves with you and try to teach you the first turns. We will give you good tips to get your surfing to the next level.
In our lessons we treat surfers of all levels individually, to give them the best support and help to advance fast.

Advanced Surf Lessons

So you are able to surf green waves and you feel comfortable in waves up to 1.50 m? Then you will be taught in our ADVANCED surf courses. Your surf coach will go surfing with you and try to spot and correct your mistakes. You will get valuable tips so you get the chance to optimize your surfing and improve your abilities on the board during the time of your stay.

Private Surf Lessons

Furthermore, it is very important where the lessons take place. Surfing in Peniche or Surfing in Santa Cruz, we take you to carefully chosen spots where the conditions are best for you.
