Location

Located on the heart of west coast in portugal, the GLOBAL SURF SCOOL&CAMP is a Surf school and a surf camp situated in one of the must beautiful and consistents surf spots in Europe. We are located in Praia da Areia Branca just at 15 minutes from Peniche and 30 minutes from Ericeira! This Place is a small beach village, that still holds its natural beauty and has not been affected by mass tourism.

12km coastline sandy beaches offer you more then 20 surf spots with no crowd.

The Place

Our main surf house at Praia da Areia Branca. A classic Portuguese style house, totally renovated inside and out improving its interior/exterior comfort and giving it a modern look and feel. Perfectly located only a one minute walk from the beachfront, also including a large swimming pool and deck for lounging or peaceful meditation and yoga. Enjoy the beach, the surf, local restaurants, the scenic walks and many other activities that make your stay spectacular!

How did you like the accommodation?

     

The hours is so beautiful! Very clean with fully equipped kitchen. Haven’t been in a more beautiful surf house in my life. It really felt like home. The owner is very helpful and nice, took care of us like we were his family. We were only two but every morning had breakfast for at least 10 people

How did you like the surf lessons?

     

4 days with these instructors and I did more progress than during the whole last season when I surfed 4 days every week. The teachers are very encouraging, helped a lot to build confidence and taught us a lot of theory in an easy way so now I can go alone and assess the conditions. They also listen to you and what do you want and feel comfortable, e.g. I could chose if I want to get a longboard or progress with my short boarding. They always chose the best time and spot for our level even if we had to wake up early and drive to Peniche. Truly I had lessons with a lot of teachers and due to my work know so many, but no one I ever met is half as good as these guys
