What is included:

Rasty and Julie, the masters of the place, are big fans of Volkswagen combi, that's why they wanted to share this passion with you! You will have the chance to sleep in the "Guapachoza", a room unusual: an authentic combi of 1951 perched at the top of a typical Ecuadorian cabin. All in a warm and colourful atmosphere!
During your stay you can enjoy a surf lesson to discover the " god’s sport", supervised by an ISA certified teacher or rented a wooden board Balsa shake by Rasty.
Our Eden restaurant will welcome you morning, noon and night for a multitude of typical dishes or elsewhere or even veggie! We also offer you a real romantic meal of your choice!
In order to make your stay a real success we also offer daily yoga classes, 1 massage per person and 1 jacuzzi session.

Location

We are in La Punta, in the quiet side of Montañita, a typical surf and fishing town of Ecuador. Our inn is at 20 meters of the surf spot. .At 2hours 30 of the airport of Guayaquil.

The Place

Balsa Surf Camp is a unique inn in the quiet side of Montañita. This is an oasis of peace with a luxurious garden and typical Ecuadorian cabins made of wood and bamboo.

Julie and Rasty, the creators, welcome you to share their passions for surf, yoga and nature.

We have 13 private rooms from 2 people to 6 maximum and one particularly unusual : our famous combi VW in the top of a cabin as a room ! We offer surf rental and lessons with Balsa wood boards made by Rasty. And also, daily yoga classes in a wonderful open yoga studio where you can also meditate, do stretching, Taï-chi, Acro-yoga etc…

We will welcome you for three meals a day in our restaurant The Eden with a large choice of sea food, fusion of French and Ecuadorian and a lot more!
