Located in the Busturialdea to Urdaibai area, on the left bank of the estuary which bears the same name, in the heart of the Natural Reserve of the Biosphere of Urdaibai, Mundaka has always been closely associated with the sea and open to the world.

For centuries its people have played leading roles in the Basque Country's history of sailing and fishing.

The Place

From the restoration of an historic building in the center of an old fisherman’s town, the Eco-Hotel Mundaka was founded in 1995. A family run hotel with an emphasis on service and ensuring an unforgettable stay for all our guests.
