- Due to changing tides exact surf lesson start times are not decided until the week of your lesson.
- After you book we will contact you the week of your lesson to tell you your lessons start time.
Beginner Surf
Our beginner's lessons are 1 hour and hours per day and includes all the necessary material. We can pick you up form our surf center and take you to the beach. The students ratio is 1:6. The beginner's lessons are in beach where you can walk, This goal class give your standing up techniques and paddle to catch unbroken waves. Minimal people for a group lesson are 3.
Intermediate Surf
We can pick you up every morning or we can arrange a meeting point from where we go to the selected spot. Each lesson take 2 hours surf per day, all the equipment necessary is included. You will be given the step by step guidance that will have ridding the waves in the fastest time. In this level we have a student ratio 1:6 for better surfing experience and a more focus lesson.
Private Surf
For the ones that prefer to learn even more fast we also provide private lessons with one teacher for one student. This service must be planned in advanced to find the best location to a private lesson.

Best time to go depends on your level above. July, August & September are the peak tourist months.
This is where you surf Europe's best coast line and let the fun begin.There are over 12 surf breaks along the Ericeira coast, with different options for all standards. With so much choice you'll feel like a kid in a sweet shop! The area was introduced in the Stormriders Surf Guide to Europe with the heading "Enter the Heartland".
World Surf Reserve
In 2011 it was awarded the title of 'World Surf Reserve', there are only 2 other places in the world that share the title: Santa Cruz, US and Manly, Australia.
If it is your first surfing holiday to Ericeira then head straight to Foz do Lizandro and Sao Juliao beaches south of town, they are perfect beginner and intermediate surf spots. Closer to town is Praia do Sul. Another great beginner beach breaks. All best at mid tide but surfable at high and low tide also.
For Intermediates you have the reliable and safe reef break Ribeira d'Ilhas, which host the WSL World qualifying series surf championships every year. And for the more adventurous you have the world class Coxos. That's just naming a few, there are too many surf breaks to mention here!
Don't forget to explore further up the coast - 25 minutes away is Santa Cruz and an hour away is Peniche, home to the World renowned Supertubos and host of the Rip Curl Pro since 2009. 30 minutes south of Lisbon is the Cascais coast with the famous Praia do Guincho surf beach. And when north winds are blowing you can venture further south towards Carcevelos beach and the other surf spots along the Lisbon coast.

- A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Your balance is due 7 days prior to arrival.
Cancelling
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- If you contact us 48 hours before your lesson you will not be charged. We will not refund if you pay the lessons and miss the lessons, except for health situations.
What happens if the surf school cancel the Surf Lessons?
In the rare occasion that conditions do not allow for the surf lesson to go ahead you will be given a full refund.

How were the surf lessons?
I came to this Shop after a recommendation from a friend and after reading some of the comments of TA. I think the surf lessons begin at the moment that i step into the Shop and ends after stepping out from the Bus that carry y back to the City. In the water there was no moment where I felt alone or where I did not know what to do.
I was surprised when one of the teachers invited me and my girlfriend to a wine tasting Place outside of Ericeira in a wineyard, that was a realy good alternativ to get to know the countryside.
How were the surf lessons?
When you are searching for surflessons in Ericeira you get lost in al the different surfschools. Choose Activity Surf Center because it is for a reason you find them on the first place when you search at Tripadvisor. We experienced that they searched for the right wave conditions that matched with your surexperience and give quality, good feedback and the right stoke.
