Location

Sri Lanka is a tropical island with world to class surf, located east of the southern tip of India. Here you have fantastic surroundings with lots of wildlife and beautiful nature, in addition to great surf and a mellow atmosphere at the surf school. ‘Lanka is the home of endless beaches, heavenly cuisine, tropical climate, and a great variety of places to visit.

The Place

Surf camp Sri Lanka is situated on Kabalana beach, near Ahangama, a small surfing village located 3 hours south of the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo.

It is a charming place with a few restaurants and a relaxed vibe. We have chosen to place our surf camp here because of the fantastic villas, the beautiful beach, and the world-class surf. If you are looking for a bigger range of restaurants and nightlife, Mirissa is only a 20 minutes ride away, and offers has something for most people. We usually go here when we are looking for some night-time adventures.

We have a minimum stay of 7-days in all of our camps, with set arrival and departure always on Mondays.

Surf Lessons Available

Surf Lessons we offer:

Beginner Surf Lessons

Level 1 - If you have never surfed before this course is for you. Groups are made up of 6 surfers per instructor and we will get you catching as many waves as possible.

Intermediate Surf Lessons

Level 2 - For those that are catching white water no problem and want to start surfing green waves.

Advanced Surf Lessons

Level 3 - We will take you surfing reefs and point break and build up your surfing confidence

Payment

  • A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • Your balance is due to the property 60 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 60 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
