Location

The house is situated 70 meters away from the beach. It only takes you a few steps to have access to surf lessons, diving in the waves, beautiful sunsets, paddling or beach volleyball.
Only a few meters away there’s a long avenue in front of the beach where you can walk, ride a bike, go surfskating, drink a nice cold cocktail “Caipirinha” in a bar or even eat a delicious ice to cream with a great view of the ocean.

In Furadouro you can easily find excellent restaurants that serve traditional Portuguese food, seafood and grilled fish.

The Place

A typical Portuguese summer house converted into a surf hostel with Ocean view.

The house can accommodate up to 12 guests and has 6 bedrooms. On the first floor, there is a shared room with two bunk beds, where four people can sleep, one suite with a double bed and private bathroom, and 2 more rooms with single beds, for solo travelers. On the ground floor, there are 2 rooms, one with twin beds and a private bathroom outside the room, ideal for 2 friends and a suite with a double bed. The living-room and the kitchen are connected with each other to allow guests to socialize. These rooms are totally equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals if you wish.

Surf lessons and a lot of other activities are available during your stay.

How did you like the accommodation?

     

We stayed Off-Season (September) at the Hostel and we are more than happy with our choice. Bruno is a great host and he gave us a great time surfing, eating and relaxing.

How did you like the accommodation?

     

I spent 10 days in this Hostel and I really can‘t find a single thing that wasn‘t good about it. I could see the ocean from my very comfortable bed, the House was always clean and there is a lot of Space to relax, Cook, and eat together. Of you want to Go Shopping, Swimming, get groceries, Go to a restaurant or just Drink something at a Beach-Bar, everything is nearby. I can honestly say that I never stayed in an Hostel like that: There is a Great breakfast every Morning and you can ask for help, tipps and even surflessons anytime. Bruno, the host is Not only a Great surf teacher but he‘s also wonderful at welcoming you. As a true local ( the House belonged to his Great- grandmother) he knows the area and is always happy to Share his Knowledge Even of he is extremely busy. I think that he and his family are a considerable Part of the reason that our time in Portugal was wonderful and I Hope to Come back sometime
