The Surf Guide Package is a hands-on service from one of our experienced local surf guides. Our surf guide will take you to the various different surf breaks daily and depending on conditions take you to some of our outer island point breaks making sure you get some of the best surf of your life

Aceh Jaya is just 2 hours away from Banda Aceh (northern tip of Sumatra) and its International airport with frequent flights to/ from Kuala Lumpur.

The Place

SpotX is a newly opened Surf and Eco Resort tucked away on a secluded, elevated bay in Aceh Jaya. The well appointed accommodation melds seamlessly into stunning natural surrounds with a dramatic ocean view. The bungalows are built from local, quality hard wood and stones, complimented with antique brass fittings gathered from all around the world. Our resort is off-the-grid and 100% solar powered.

We have four sea view bungalows with private bathrooms and a restaurant offering regional delicacies such as: lobster, octopus and venison, prepared to meet high western culinary standards.

A yoga hut and a work-out area are also on site.

We cater for maximum 10 surfers only at one time at the resort.

Waves are good throughout the year with the bigger season being May till October.

Non-surf activities include: river kayaking, wildlife trekking with the possibility to see wild elephants and maybe even a tiger, yoga, fishing, snorkeling or just exploring the numerous unspoiled, pristine beaches and islands.
