Our camp is just another 5 minute drive away from Berawa beach. This part of the island offers many different intermediate and beginner surfspots. Let us take you to the bests wave – every day!
The peacefull campside tempts with an extraordinary view over the surrounding rice fields – just grab a drink and enjoy the sunset on our very own rooftop terrace! If you ever feel bored, you can always just order a driver to take you to the buzzing streets of Canggu, where you'll find shopping areas, beaches, nice tiny cafés, bars and restaurants. It's only 3 minutes away!
Canggu and Berawa are the newest places to be in Bali – it's hip, it's hipster, it's Canggu – you'll love the modern Love, Peace and Harmony to Hippie to Vibe!
Or you simply rent one of our scooters for free – go out and explore the island, it has a lot to offer!
The SurfWG is a nice and cozy surfcamp, located on the beautiful island of Bali. We offer professional surfguiding 7 days a week, 2 sessions per day. You can choose between 10 different guided trips everyday – we'll take you to the best waves in Bali!
Our camp is based in Berawa, a beautiful village next to Canggu. Right in the middle of stunning ricefields, you'll find a lovingly maintained campsite with tropical gardens and a stunning mix of Balinese and Western architecture – you will simply love it. And compared to other camps, the SurfWG is very quietly located, in a small alley next to the main road.
Our camp can accomodate up to 36 guests in four different room-types. We offer single and double bedrooms, 4-bed bedrooms and deluxe accomodation in our private surfcamp villa. For every guest, breakfast is included and our restaurant offers a wide range of western and indonesian foods, various fresh fruit juices and desserts. No one has to go to bed hungry.
The huge pool in the middle of the camp is our famous gathering-point and also center of most of the camp-parties. Everything perfectly fits into Surf WGs tropical garden – that’s Bali feeling at it’s best! And if you'd need time for yourself – no worries! The camp offers enough space to do so. Just relax at one of the two other Mini-Pools, read a book or get to know all those other wonderful guests.

Kids Surf Lessons
All our guided surfsessions are sutiable for kids who already know a little bit about surfing. Our local guides really love surfing with the kids and it sure is hell of a fun for the kiddos!

We offer a free beginner course for 3 days, including material as surfboard and lycra. Our rofessional guides take you to the best beginner spots of the island and teach you everything you need to know – go for it!
Intermediate Surf Lessons

Advanced Surf Lessons
You'll get guided surfsessions twice a day, 7 days a week. We offer special classes for advance surfers, so you can improve and work on your surfingskills – mayybe you wanna check out Uluwatu? Let's hit the road and find the perfect wave for your level!

Surf Guide
We offer guided surfsessions twice a day, 7 days a week. All of our guides are professional surfguides who know the spots and the waves like no one else. Our guides are local indonesians and they know best where to surf in every condition possible. Also you can decide where you wanna go the next day – just choose between several surfspots (up to 10 different spots every day) and enjoy the surf!
Berawa Beach
Level: Intermediate
Distance: 5minutes drive.
Berawa Beach is a nice semi to beachbreak, that offers right to and lefthanders and can hold up to 7 foot.
Batu Bolong
Level: Beginner
Distance: 5 minutes away from our camp.
Batu Bolong is the perfect wave for beginners, who wanna surf their first green waves. The waves is really mellow and always a lot of fun. Just take your Mini to Malibu and follow our guides – you gonna love it.
It can be surfed between 3,5 and 6 foot.
Oldman
Level: All Levels
Distance: 5 minutes away from the camp.
Oldman is a really mellow wave that offers a nice long ride. Perfect for advanced beginners and longboarders!
Also fun for intermediates when the big swell is hitting!
Holds up to 7 foot.
Bali benefits from an almost endless supply of Southern Ocean groundswell meaning you are very rarely disappointed. SW swells wrap around the Bukit peninsula creating an array of world class lefts including the infamous Uluwatu which is Bali's most consistent wave. It is for the more experienced surfers and it tends to section when it's smaller which does spread the crowds out by allowing take offs almost anywhere down the line. The wave is broken down into three sections, Inside corner, Racetracks and Outside corner.
Further down the Bukit peninsula you can find Padang Padang which is home to Bali's most desired barrel and a more chilled out Bali surf holidays place to stay than the busier Kuta. It is a beautiful white sandy beach with reef out back for the more advanced, while in front it is perfect for beginners.
Bingin reef is a fun short tube wave, that can get crowded.
Dreamland beach is next in line and is one of the more user friendly beaches on the Bukit. It runs from deep water and can often be a shore break where you need to avoid creasing your board or hitting one of the many tourists playing on the inside.
Balangan is slightly more secluded with another perfect looking left point. It fires when the swell direction is big enough and coming from the right direction.
For beginners & intermediates there are many quality beach breaks around including the long beach break in the centre of Kuta and up to Legian. Further north west is Canggu which has a better mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced waves than the high performance waves on the Bukit Peninusla.
On the east side of the island you can find Nusa Dua, Sanur & further up Keramus. This side of Bali tends to work better in the Wet season (October to April).
Across from the Bali Peninsula is Grajagan or G-Land. A much more remote spot than the rest of Bali, surrounded by thick jungle and wild animals. It is often referred to as the best wave in the world. A long very consistent wave with a variety of different sections. but mostly for experienced surfers.
