Location

Nestled between the estuary and the ocean, the Médoc is not only the world's most famous wine region but also has endless golden sandy beaches that run down to Spain. At its heart in the middle, you can find France's largest freshwater lake surrounded by pine forests (10 minutes from camp).

Our local surf spot, Plage du Pin Sec, is 8 minutes down the road and is the region's quietest public beach with only a few amenities preserving the wild vibe. We are graced with the same waves that hit other legendary spots such as Lacanau, Hossegor, Biscarrosse, and Biarritz on the same stretch of coast.

The South West of France is also home to the country's most dynamic and popular yet uncrowded cities (Bordeaux 1 hour), its longest beaches and the best wine in the world (Margaux, Pauillac, St Estephe).

The Place

Sanctuary Surf offers a unique Glamping experience on a natural and calm campsite with huge individual plots (over 200m2 each).

Our 4 Deluxe tents can accommodate up to 12 guests, with 3 ensuite WC & washrooms. Guests also have 24/7 access to hot showers on the communal bathroom block.

The main tent features a bar and lounge area, with dining table and large outdoor terrace to soak up the sun.

With all the facilities at our Glampsite, a holiday with Sanctuary Surf is an all-inclusive solution for your accommodation, dining, transport and activities to ensure a hassle-free experience to let you enjoy “la belle vie”.
