K59 is located in the state of La Libertad El Salvador. Our Resort is right in front of k59 point break 50 meters from the water.

The Place

K59 is located on the pacific coastal highway ( carretera el litoral or CA2 ) of El Salvador, 45 minutes from the Comalapa International Airport, being the most safe and modern airport in Central America.

K59 is only 50 minutes from San Salvador the Capital of the country. The closest town to K59 is El Puerto de La Libertad which is only 25 minutes away.

What is really good about traveling to El Salvador is that flying out from almost any where in USA is really easy. From California it is 5 hours, Florida 2:30 hours and from the rest of USA no more than 5 hours.

The surf season in EL Salvador is almost year round. The best months are from March to October. September is rainy and sometimes conditions are not favorable but there are some big waves. November and December the wave average is 3´ to 5´ with a couple of 6´ to 8´ swells very clean and beautiful, January and February the waves are very small but clean, very good for learning.
