Location

Playa El Tunco is the most popular place in the country, this is because the surf is very consistence and for all levels, also is located just 35 minutes away from the international airport in the middle of the area of La Libertad making it very easy to move around to surf other spots. The small town is a funny village with several bars and restaurants, a nice young surf travel enviroment where you are able to meet people from everywhere in the world.

The Place

Locarted in the popular beach town of Playa El Tunco, the Surf House is a good place for young surf travelers looking for fantastic surf and low rates. it has space for 15 persons in 7 different private rooms but with shared bathroom, we have rooms with one double bed or two single beds. And we also have a tree house suite with private bathroom, living room and ocean view, one king size bed and one single bed.

The rooms are basic but the property garden is very large and nice, with swimmingpool, lounge areas, and gardens, direct access to the beach and with kitchen available. We have available package for beginners with our surf school programs ISA certificated and we also have packages for intermediate to advance with guided surf trips to explore and know the different spots around and secrets of the local crew.

The town is the most popular destination in the country, the surf is very consistence and the main homebreaks are Bocana and Sunzal. The town is located in the middle of La Libertad area, is very easy to move around and surf other popular spots like K59, Punta Roca, Zonte and Cocal, also the airport is just 30 minutes away from it. The Athmosphere in the town is special, full of small restaurants and bars with great live music parties during the weekend and a chill enviroment with surf travelers from everywhere in the world.
