All guestrooms in Polhena are under one roof in our main house. The spacious and modern accommodation offers a half covered swimming pool, a little garden and a 100m² big terrace.
The huge common area with an open kitchen, the cosy living room and two open roof top terraces are perfect for relaxing after your surf session.
In total, there are five comfortable rooms, that are all equipped with air condition and a separate bathroom.
Location
The drivethru Surfcamp Polhena is located in the South of Sri Lanka in the middle of the small village of Polhena.
The Ocean and diverse local shops and restaurants are easily accessible either by foot or by Tuk Tuk.
In only a five minutes walk away you can reach Polhena Beach with its reef break in the water and some small local shops on shore.

Definitely the best choice if you travel alone or in a bigger group and like to safe a little privacy. The single beds cannot be put together.

Season
November - March is the dry season and has the most consistent surf.
Weligama is a perfect beginner and intermediate surf break. It is arguable the most consistent beach break on the South Coast.
Only a quick 4KM and ten minutes by tuk-tuk from Weligama is the idyllic Mirissa. A quiet stretch of beach that has turquoise and crystal clear waters on beaches fringed by palms.
Mirissa is an established stop-off for surfers, with two breaks at either end of the beach. There is a right-hander reef break near the rocks that doesn’t generate much power, that is great for those who are progressing on to reef. And an equally good left-hander close to the harbour.

PAYMENT
- A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Your balance is due to the property 30 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 30 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- You can cancel anytime up to 30 days before travelling and you will be refunded the balance.
