What a week - the ASP WCT stopped in JBay, South Africa this week and produced one of the best events in years. Kelly Slater was on fire in the early heats only to be knocked out in Round 3.

Joel Parkinson won the event, his 3rd victory this year, putting him in pole position to win the tour. This was the 5th event of 10, the next one begins on September 11th in Trestles, California.
