  • We had an absolutely superb holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it - we stayed in a sea view room, clean, spacious and well presented  and great views - we would recommend them and go back again ourselves. The staff there were all very helpful and all of them spoke fluent English which made up for our (very) broken Portugese! The roof top decking area was fantastic, although we ddint spend as much time upo there as we should have probably. We ate in the restaurant once as we preferred to wander around town at night, definitely recommend Bisoito restaurant, close to Guincho beach, off the beaten path, very authentic Portuguese. The surf lessons with Alexand Nick  were absolutely fantastic. They  looked after both me and my son very well in every lesson and adapted to suit our levels of experience and ability. They knew when to push you onto the next level and when to back off and let you rest - nothing seemed too much trouble. Our surfing ability has progressed pretty well and we now both have the confidence to keep going and as a result we'll be getting in the water as much as possible back home. The boards and wetsuits were in good condition and there was plenty of choice. We only surfed in Guincho beach - about a 5 min drive away. It was lovely - clean sands that were well looked after, a nice slowly shelving beach, lovely clean water, plenty of waves and a fantastic cafe to chill out after an exhausting day in the surf. All in all we had an absolutely superb time and whilst our bodies were aching from the amount of surfing we did, we really didn't want to go home and one day will go back again. I'd also like to say thanks to you for your help in booking the holiday - Simon & Bobby, Pembrokshire

  • The holiday was really fun. Nicole and I had a great time. Hotel – Really good, very clean, lots of space, helpful staff, good facilities. Surf Lessons – Top drawer, Alex and Nick were awesome guys. Beaches – Quality – Reminded me of home in Western Australia, Cascais is a cool city and the restaurants were good if you went to the right ones that weren’t the tourist ones in the middle of the town centre. I will recommend you guys when others a looking for a fun holiday - Kris & Nicole, Perth, Australia

  • Loved holiday thanks. Hotel was very good. Terrific location. Would be glad to stay there again - clean well maintained and all mod cons  . No club 18 30 element either. Surf lessons also great  good instruction , well organised , friendly crew. Safety consciousness evident too . Weather and beaches ideal . No complaints. Eating good - particularly Lucullus and Bar Guincho on the beach. Prices reasonable in most places and quality as good as anywhere .  Didnt make it to Lisbon. Would be glad to do it again - if the body holds up that is! - Rory & Amy, Dublin

  • We had a great time,  beaches, area, restaurants all great. We got to Sintra palace, recommend. Temperatures were bearable / comfortable. Loved the pool, loved the food, the people were genuine and welcoming. The hotel was spot on. The surfing was challenging but enjoyable andAlex is pleasant to deal with.  Cascais is attractive and locals are friendly and helpful. Best restaurants we visited are Pateo do Petisco and Biscoito. Close access to Lisbon and airport was a big plus. Would definitely recommend it - Hazel, Greystones
