  • Weekend was great. accommodation was as described and very spacious and  comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Surf class was good, instructor was very encouraging and knowledgable. went out on the friday night to a few of the local pubs on the main street and ended up in the local nightclub. Area very well kept and everyone in the shops, pubs and hotels were very friendly and helpful - Karen, Palmerstown

  • Have to say we had a wonderful time in Lahinch.  The accommodation was perfect!  Staying mid week meant it was very quiet and we got lots of well earned rest.  Duncan and Karen were lovely...and lets not forget Annie the dog, such a beauty :) We had a blast on our surf lessons. Thanks for all your help! - Anne-Marie, Wicklow

  • The accommodation was amazing, lovely people great food.  They made Hannah and I feel very welcome and at ease, would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to hear : ) The surf lessons where really good fun, and I can't wait to get another lesson when I have a bit of money - Louise & Hanna, England

  • Lahinch was brilliant as it always is and Duncan is a legend and a great host. Good fun everywhere and everyone enjoyed themselves.I will definitely be recommending West Coast Lodge to anyone that asks. We will probably be heading back again next year because the lads all loved it that much. Thanks again for everything - Michael, Dublin

  • Accommadation great and lessons brillant. Kids enjoyed the lessons overall a very good holiday and yes addicted now. Lahinch has great pubs, pity about the weather though but enjoyed the week.Sinead, Dublin

  • The whole trip was great! Duncan was very very pleasant and helpful, the hostel was great, perfect location and having the large room was perfect for us. The town was lovely, lots to do for a small place, handy for trips on up the coast! Yeah, totally addicted! We're in talks for booking our next trip maybe up to Bundoran this time, so you'll probably be hearing from me again! We had absolutely no problems with anything and would stay down there again, so all positive feedback from all of us!Thanks a million for your help! - Noelle, Dublin

  • Everything went well, I can recommend it very highly in respect of hospitality, location, layout, comfort, space, bedding, help yourself beverages all day, help yourself breakfast ( until app 11.30), cleanliness, power showers and all the facilities affforded to the customer. Duncan and Carol run a very nice and comfortable establishment. Peter - Wicklow

  • The surf holiday was epic!! We'd such a good time. We ended up stayin down two extra nights. The accomodation was unreal for the price and the owner Duncan was very welcoming and helpful with everything. We're already planning on heading back down in August with a bigger group. The surf school was really good 2, good craic- even if we did swallow half of the sea!:-) Cheers for everything! Jennifer – Louth, Ireland

  • We had an absolute ball in Lahinch.  The lodge was so lovely, really spacious and clean, the rooms were spot on and there were so many common areas to hang out.  We all loved the place, and would recommend it to anyone heading down for the weekend.  We had our lesson on Saturday morning with the surf school.  We cancelled the Sunday lesson in the end because we had to be back in Kildare earlier than expected, but they were very nice to let us cancel, just held onto the deposit, which was totally cool.  The surf crew were so much fun.  One of the girls was so scared because she had never surfed before and didn't consider herself to be a strong swimmer but by the end of the lesson she was totally hooked! Two of us had been to Bundoran earlier in the summer surfing with the Roxy camp, but we actually enjoyed Lahinch even more, which I didn't think was possible! Saturday night we had a couple drinks in the town, brilliant craic was had by all.  All in all, it was a fantastic weekend away and I will be telling all of my friends so that we can be planning our next trip before the dread of winter kicks in! Michelle - Ireland

  • The weekend was an unqualified success. We haven't stopped talking about it since. The Lodge was perfect and the surfing was brilliant! We are already saving for a return trip - Mary, Cork

  • We had a great time, enjoyed by all. Oliver - Ireland
