  • We had a fabulous time in Fuerteventura. The accommodation was great, rooms very spacious, staff really friendly and the pool area quiet and relaxing (just what you need after a busy morning surfing). We also really liked the location, being so close to the beach and the older part of town. Richie at the surf school was great, he showed us around the local area and gave us some really good pointers as to where to eat etc. He also told us about lots of other things we could do on the island . Nothing seemed to be to much trouble for him and he was willing to organize bike hire etc etc. We particularly loved a yoga session he helped to organize in a retreat in a small village . This I am sure we would never have discovered without Richie's inside / local knowledge. We also really appreciated the fact that we were in small groups for our surf lessons (no more than 6) especially as we noticed most of the other surf schools seemed to be much bigger. All in all my daughter and I had a fabulous time and neither of us wanted to come home. We loved everything about it and would love to return to Fuerteventura. Please could you pass on our thanks and best wishes to Richie.  Almost forgot, also thought it was fab to have G come along as the photographs he took are such a lovely momento of a great holiday. Thanks again, Best wishes - Judith and Izzy, Cardiff

  • Hey ya! everything was great, accommodation much better than we excepted-very clean and good standards.
That part of Fuerteventura is fantastic, great restaurants(great value for money), nice bars and strong coctails:). Keep it for yourself-we had much better time here than in Lagos:) I will come back for more surfing! Take care - Kamil and Jacek, Poland

  • We all had a really good holiday. Richie was a very attentive instructor and both of my sons learnt alot from their lessons, he also organised an evening get together with the other family having surf lessons which was a very pleasant evening.  The location was very good, only negative was that the receptionist was unhelpful and definitely in 'computer says no' mood!!  We all had a very good time, and would certainly go back  for a surfing/beach holiday. Many thanks for such a good time in Fueteventura - Jan and family, London

  • We really enjoyed the surf trip to Fuerteventura and thought Richie was very good. Accomodation was ok but they did have to move us the last night which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, was good and would recommend it - Caroline, Dublin

  • Hi yes we had a great time. The corralejo beach hotel was in a great location. We had some kite surfing lessons and managed to use the body board for a couple of days. The people were very friendly and a great choice of places to eat and shop - Sue, Swansea

  • Ok here's some feedback:
    1) The Corralejo Beach Hotel was excellent value for money and everything you need from a mid range hotel; clean, friendly, quiet where it needed to be, excellent location and altogether a great place to stay. No complaints whatsoever. The lads moaned about the quality of the breakfast but that is such small potatoes really.
    2) Ritchie was a class act, an excellent host and a passionate surfer who greeted us everyday with enthusiasm and expert tuition. His level of supervision and tuition are something you really have to see first hand. He's got a realy good handle on the varying levels of proficiency and how quickly the lads where progressing. Superb tuition from someone that knows his stuff and has a passion to pass it on. He's really fired up the boys into a sport that they both want to carry on with and this really was my goal so he's hit the mark there. His local knowledge is invaluable and he gave us some excellent places to go and eat, drink and be merry at. He organised a few nights out with other people who where surfing and these too where really good choices.
    3) Fuerteventura? Yeh, it's a cooky little place with a nice laid back vibe, easy to let your kids wander round in safety with no hassle and it's definately on the "to do" list for next year. Yeh, Surfholidays was a total success on every front so I've no doubt you'll be hearing from me again next year - Carl, Wigan

It was a great trip, I’d highly recommend it. The accommodation was well located and a good standard. The surfing was great and Richie and Dave did a great job with transport, time with the kids, safety etc. The old part of Fuerta was nice and the food was excellent and reasonably priced.  Overall it was great week - Declan and family, Dublin

  • Coralejo was very busy which was great, the hotel was beautiful and everybody was very helpful, location was perfect and I was always able to get parking outside the front door ! In general it was a success - Brendan, Tipperary

  • No complaints about the trip, we had a great time. The hotel is a fantastic location, the best of anyone we spoke to in the surf class and very clean with good pool facilities. Richie made the trip for us, we learned so much from him and got to see many spots for surfing. We definitely made a lot of progress. The restaurants were amazing thanks to Richie's recommendations mainly. Can I recommend the following for food for your future clients: 5th Avenue (just up from McCarthy's Bar, Cafe Lounge (mexican in the old town),Avenidas (spanish food in the old town), Boardriders cafe (surf n turf, chilled out), Cafe Blanco is a great cocktail cafe in the old town. Thanks for putting together a great trip - Shane, Cork

  • We had a great time. The apartments and location were great. We had probably the nicest room I've ever had in a spanish resort. The place was well maintained and very clean. The location couldn't have been better - Joe, Sligo

  • The holiday was amazing, Fuerteventura is beautiful and the hotel was in a perfect location. Richie was fantastic, so helpful and a great teacher too - Melissa, Dublin

  • We had a great holiday. Hotel was lovely - we were in a self catering apartment and it was lovely well equipped and clean. Also we asked not to have an apartment that would be noisy and they facilitated this no problem. Location is super. We really enjoyed the surfing and Richie was a great instrutor. He was also very helpful in giving us some great recommendations for places to eat and drink. We enjoyed Citrus restuarant in particular.  Thanks a lot, we will be back! - Karen, Dublin

  • Myself and my friend went for one week surfing.  We are mid 30's and really only beginners looking for something new to do on holidays.  We had the most amazing week ever!  The surf guys in Fuerteventura were so nice and friendly. We felt safe with them at all times and they also showed us parts of the Island and the island life that no regular tourists will see.  We went to different beaches each day and at different times and we met some great people along the way.  We stayed at the Corralejo beach hotel, which was perfect  -near everything and yet those vital few metres away from tourist tack.  We actually had the best of Fuerte and avoided tack almost the entire week, I actually feel like I had a week in Bali!  Fuerte has bits of tourist tack, but with surf holidays you avoid them almost completely and come back home feeling so energised and happy. Out of 1000, I give it 999 - Mark, Dublin

  • We had a great surf holiday. I 'm not quite the pro I hoped to be but I think the problem may lie with me!! Accomodation was great, really central. Richie was lovely, great instructor and very good to us and I really enjoyed visiting different beaches. Your advice on eating out was bang on, went to Citrus alot..lovely nachos and the curries were gorgeous. Richie told us a few other places, can't think- maybe it was Gregory's? lovely fish there and an italian across the road from Citrus( name escapes me). Nightlife was very chilled until the weekend, great fun then..up in that tacky karaoke bar beside hotel and then Wakiki until early hours. All in all a great holiday! Thanks for organising it!! - Niamh, Meath

  • Myself and the lads had a great week. Although we didn't spend alot time in the apartment it was top class and a good location. We may be heading back early in the new year so may be back onto you- Paul, Dublin

  • Had a great time, the accommodation was great and in perfect location.  The Surf School was fantastic, really accommodating and the service was above and beyond what we had expected, to be honest it is probably what made the holiday.  Not only were the lessons fantastic Richie was also very helpful with tips on where to eat out etc and introduced us to probably the best white chocolate cake we have ever tasted!! Overall we were extremely impressed and can not recommend it highly enough, already looking forward to the next trip - Catriona and 2 friends, Dublin

  • We had a wonderful 8 days at the Corralejo Beach hotel. The Suite was perfect, lots of space, seperate living room - sat out in the sun every morning on the balcony for breakfast and had a few evenings in watching dvds. Can't recommend it highly enough. Pool bar was very relaxing. We got to see a lot of the island surfing, I think we surfed about 5 different beaches with the surf school. Thanks a lot - Sarah & Matt, Warwick, UK

  • We loved it here. The town is so laid back and the hotel is great - it was close to everything, just walk out the door to the beach and the harbour area. Thanks for the restaurant tips, we didnt try them all but loved the Citrus bar. We both really enjoyed the surf lessons and will defo keep it up, its just a pity its not warm all the time back home :(  - Jo, Claire and Claudine, London

  • Thanks for the recommendation. We had a really good time. The hotel was a great spot - really great price for that kind of place. We were sorry to leave the place, had the perfect mix of everything, we hope to get back again. Thanks - Dave, Portsmouth
